The Sudan Mission: Improving the Equality of Life and Health Care in South Sudan: New Program - To improve nutrition among expectant mothers and infants
There will be no political and religious stability in South Sudan without addressing the deplorable health and humanitarian crisis in the area: For this reason, MHI International has sent a 4ft cargo container loaded with medical equipment and supplies to Kuron, Diocese of Torit in Eastern Equatoria State valued for $1.8 million. While the focus now is on Sudan's Referendum, the region remains in the midst of great need of quality health care, trained health care providers, clinical equipment and supplies.
